Apoc Station IRC channel

Does Apoc station have an IRC channel? If so, is it public? If not may I suggest that you get one?

It is my opinion that all servers should have an IRC channel for discussing aspects of the server, past rounds etc. without having to spam the OOC channel to death. If nothing else it allows players to inquire if the has crashed when they suddenly lose connection.

What are your thoughts on this?

It's an OK idea, but we are having enough trouble hosting the server and forums themselves, and unless you're thinking of hosting the IRC channel on the same machine as the other stuff, it might prove to be a challenge to IDW.

This forum is a free forum..

The technical strain hosting an IRC channel personally would be minuscule, however, there are many services out their, quakenet being my network of choice, that host channels for free.

Sorry about saying we pay for the forums, small typo, and i said that if were to start our own IRC channel, it would be a bit of a problem, but we could use a number of proven "providers", such as Quakenet or Forestnet, after all, it's all up to IDW.
