Past experience?:
Not that much to be honest. SS13 is my only real coding experience besides MatLab stuff at college.
What's something(s) you'd like to add?:
I'm only really applying to improve adminPMs for your server. But I guess I could port the odd bit of code over when I get time (if you want).
How long have you been coding?:
Maybe about a year? (with ss13). I was using Maple and stuff for about 4 years, but that's more of a mathematics package.
Are you actually *good* at coding?:
I'm not an amazing coder like the head-coders from TG, but I'm ok/good. The important bit being I test my work and I actually fix it if I -do- break anything. I'm pretty good at writing clean code. Most of my coding time goes into fixing runtimes. I'm currently working on rewriting bans/jobbans to add a bunch of features like playernotes, timed jobbans etc. I helped code antag jobbans on the TG codebase.
Have you previously been admin?:
I'm a current admin on Foos' Facepunch server which is on the hub.
Note:
This isn't a full application to be a coder or anything (I wouldn't really have time and I don't play here so it wouldn't really work). I'm only really hoping to get access to your admins.dm and adminverbs.dm (or better yet a link to your SVN or something
) so I can make a few changes one of your admins requested on #coderbus.
